200 Flare Lashes / Push up Lashes - 6-15 mm

These Push-up Lashes, also called Flare Lashes, Individual Lashes or Cluster Lashes are a small bundle of single lashes, connected at the end in a little flare knot.

They are beautiful and designed to look exactly like human lashes. They are soft, light-weight, bend-resistant, flexible and curled at one side. Because of their different lengths in the bundle they give a natural look.

While I used to apply eyelashes one by one, I now use more and more Flare Lashes, because the result is more convincing for the following reasons:

• The final look is fuller. With only 12-16 Push-up Lashes per lid a more expressively beautiful eyelash wreath is generated. Once you have had these gorgeous looking lashes, you will never want the one-by-one method again.
• It is no longer necessary to tape the lower lid, because the treatment can/should be done with half open eyes. This procedure is much more pleasant for the client.
• It is not necessary for the customer to lay down for the treatment; the application can be done very comfortably sitting.
• While the one-by-one eyelash application method lasts up to 2 hours per client, the application of Push-up Lashes can be done in only 20-30 minutes.
• This is enormously economic and timesaving for the client, as well as for the Eyelash Professional. The time that was needed before for one single client can now be used for 3 clients.
• As an Eyelash Professional you can offer this method far cheaper, than the single eyelash application method. So you can extend your target group and generate a bigger turnover.

A beautiful side-effect for me was that I can now extend also my own eyelashes, because the application is much easier.

And this is how it works

1. Clean the clients’ eyelid and lashes in a safe and effective way of makeup. Use only oil free eye make up remover in order to optimize the durability of the glue. If you don’t have such a protein remover, you can order this from me. My Protein Remover costs 12,50 Euro and contains no artificial colours or fragrances and absolutely no oils or alcohol, which can damage and even completely dissolve the bond of eyelash extensions. It is aloe vera based for maximum moisturizing and has a pH equal to that of natural tears to gently and thoroughly remove eye makeup while softening and soothing the delicate skin around the eye area.
2. Apply a drop of waterproof special Lashes Adhesive on a glass tray or jade stone. If you don’t have such a bond, you can order this from me. I offer a high quality one for 29,00 Euros. I really recommend this adhesive from XXL Lashes, because it is the finest quality available on the market. I have tested so many, but this is the one I use and the only one I recommend. It is of medical grade and completely odourless, fumeless and waterproof. It has a high grade of flexibility, which extends the lifetime of the extension up to more than 2 months.

   The glue doesn’t cause any skin irritation, even when applying on sensitive clients’ eyelashes. The primary ingredient is the same substance used for closing wounds without the use of stitches.

   This glue is specifically designed for intermediate Eyelash Extension Professionals. The grab time of it is perfectly balanced. On the eyelashes it dries in a few seconds, but as a drop on your glass plate it is easy to use 2 hours without drying. Therefore the Lashes Professional has enough time to make any minor adjustments that may need to be made.

   5 ml XXL Lashes Adhesive last for more than 200 applications and costs 29,00 Euros.

3. Now prepare some Push-up Lashes in all 3 sizes on a white tissue in front of you and some small wooden Pallilos. Pallilos are extra fine, absorbent soft wooden sticks to remove superfluous glue. They are supposed to absorb not needed adhesive from a single eyelash and to correct its individual position parallel to the surrounding lashes. The absorbing process cleans the eyelash easily and helps to achieve a perfect, natural looking result, without thick “mascara looking” remains.

   You can order them from me, a dispenser comes with 100 Pallilos and costs 1,95 Euros.

4. Also prepare some Eyelash Remover and Microbrushes in front of you, in case you have to remove or replace an extension

   The XXL Lashes Remover is a specially formulated gentle medical grade remover, which easily and quickly dissolves eyelash extensions adhesive in seconds without harming your natural eyelashes. There will be no irritation if use properly.

   Instructions: Apply a very little drop of remover solution on the tip of a micro-fiber brush. Wipe off excess liquid. Then press the brush with another micro-fiber brush so both brushes are dry-wet (slightly damp, but not saturated). Hold the lashes that need to be removed between the two brushes. Gently and slowly brush the single lash a few times. Let remover set for a few seconds. Use brush to remove the unwanted lash. Clean lashes with warm water and pat dry. - Only remove one lash at a time. –

   A cartridge of Micro Fiber Brushes comes with 100 applicators and costs 8,50 Euro.

5. You now work from the left to the right for right-handers - or vice-versa for left-handers.
6. Pick up a bundle of Push-up Lashes with a curved tweezers, dab the end approximately 1 mm deep into the glue and then apply it on the natural eyelash.

The Fine Point guarantees a precise grab, the satin finish causes less slippage and the limberness and small opening length requires less tension during the procedure and will not tire out your hand.

7. Now stick an eyelash bundle one after the other on the natural eyelashes, as densely as possible at the lid edge, but take care not to touch the lid, which might irritate the skin.
8. After each application you press/ squash the eyelash bundle with two against each other pressed wooden Pallilos, one below and the other above the eyelashes, slightly like a tweezers, while the wood absorbs the superfluous glue.
9. The distance between the Push-up Lashes should be as close as possible.
10. Use shorter lenghts 6,7 or 8 mm at the inner side of the lid and 9, 10 or more mm at the outside of the lid.

I offer Push-up Lashes in transparent plastic pots, because I find the work with trays time consuming and not economic. Furthermore the eyelashes easily gets damaged by the tweezers, when they stick too strongly in the tray.
